Capital Market Division (CMD) was set up in February 2000 with the objective of providing a whole gamut of services to the capital market participants.ICICI Bank has taken several measures to address this segment viz:

  • The activities of Capital Markets Division are segregated into two segments, the primary market and the secondary market with various products being offered under each segment as shown below:

    • Network of branches covering 210 locations of the country
    • Presence in all Stock Exchange centres

    • ICICI Bank reserves the discretion of issuing such guarantees at margins which are subject to internal credit assessment process and as per the RBI regulations

    Secured Overdraft
    • Overdraft against shares to meet temporary cash flow mismatches in meeting pay-in requirements, client and other obligations

    Delivery Versus Payment (DVP) Funding
    • DVP funding against contracts for trades executed on the exchange on behalf of institutional clients
