Why do I need to create the profile for various taxes after login?
The one-time profile creation for various taxes under the “Add profile” link is required to capture the common details of the tax challan, i.e. Name of assessee, PAN, address, etc. that remain the same across challans. Once the profile is created, you need not fill up these details every time you want to make a payment.
Once you fill up the tax details, you will be required to give the debit instruction either through ICICI Bank’s Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) or Retail Internet Banking. For all successful debit instructions, the acknowledgement for tax paid online will be given to you..
How soon will I get an acknowledgement for taxes paid Online?
You will get an immediate acknowledgement of your challan online. You can easily view, download and print the acknowledged copy of the challan using the MIS option available within “Online Tax”.
